On February 12th, we had Carey Moon, a well known ceramist based in Warwick, organise a fun clay session.
It was a session that got everyone participating, stirred enthusiasm and above all imagination. Small bowls were made using an interesting and visually appealing technique. Photos to follow soon, so watch this space
Carey has been working in ceramics (and painting) on and off ever since leaving art college and has taught art and ceramics to children and adults over the years. Carey´s Dad was a potter so perhaps it is in the blood!
Carey on supporting WRAP ” I have been working with WRAP since last April, because I think it does interesting and valuable work.”
Clay session II will take place on Friday 26th February, where the pieces will be decorated and finished off, having been in the kiln last week.
Do join us, it´s a fun and a unique way to socialise.
Carey has a studio in her garden where she works, and has her work in a gallery in Clifford Chambers. To find out more www.careymoon.com
