“WRAP” has been providing a place for “Wrappers” and for anyone worried about their memory or who have dementia and their carers, to meet up over a free cup of coffee, tea and some chocolate biscuits.

We call it ‘Café WRAP’ and we encourage anyone Looking After a Loved One Living with Dementia to bring them along and join us for 2 hours of fun, interactive moments and therefore we endeavour to have a varied activity programme, whether through arts and crafts, or the presence of guest speakers addressing topics of interest. Our objective is to provide support through a comforting chat and help you and your Loved One relax in a comfortable and safe environment.

Do come and join us as our volunteers and trained staff will be there waiting for you. Our services are FREE of charge.

We have trained staff prepared to receive your Loved One in a safe and comfortable environment, providing a positive and stimulating experience whilst you take a short break and focus on activities important to you.
We have also started a pilot project, running a 2 hour Day Centre at Bishopton´s Community Centre between 11am and 1pm.

If you wish to use the Day Centre, then your Loved One will have had to attend Café WRAP previously.

We then have to have some written formalities written and recorded.

Following that your loved one can join the others who attend each Friday morning.

Activities include model making (we are working on a model railway at present) Knitting and creative art work.

singing and exercise.
