‘Cafe WRAP’ is a place for ‘Wrappers’, anyone worried about their memory, people who lives with dementia and their carers to meet up over a free cup of coffee, tea and biscuits.
If you’re looking after a loved one living with dementia, come along and join us for a couple of hours of fun and interactive moments.
We endeavour to have a varied activity programme, whether through arts and crafts or guest speakers addressing topics of interest. Our aim is to provide support through a comforting chat and help you and your loved one relax in a comfortable and safe environment.
Do come and join us as our volunteers and trained staff will be there waiting for you. Our services are FREE of charge.
We have two dementia-friendly Café WRAPs running – one in Bishopton’s Community Centre and the other in Wellesbourne Village Hall.
Bishopton Café is open from 2pm until 4pm on Fridays and is located next to the Bishopton Primary School in Drayton Avenue, opposite the Squirrel public house.
Accessibility: Wheelchair access and there is a wheelchair available if required
Toilets: Yes, on site

Day Care Provision at Bishopton Café
Each Friday Morning from 11am until 1pm we provide day care for your loved one living with dementia. This includes toast and jam as well as a range of activities that aren’t just enjoyable but will also support your loved one’s hand-eye coordination. Activities include model making, knitting and creative art as well as discussing reminiscence artefacts and singing and exercise.
If you wish to use the Day Centre, please come along to the café and we can discuss your needs.
First we’ll need to meet you and your loved one but following a meeting and the relevant administration, your loved one can join the sessions on Friday mornings.
